Breen Hofmann is owner and operator of Lazy H Ranch. Lazy H Ranch is located in Half Moon Bay on 40 acres. Breen and his wife Emma and two sons Chase and Tristan call Lazy H Ranch home. Breen and Emma both grew up in Half Moon Bay, when it was not uncommon to ride your back yard pony from Montara to Half Moon Bay through the pumpkin and artichoke fields. Lazy H Ranch has been providing children horseback camps and riding lessons for the past 26 years. Breen Hofmann’s philosophy is to teach overall horsemanship. Children learn to catch, groom and ride their own horse or pony, progressing to trotting and cantering at their own pace. Breen Hofmann has been involved with youth sports in Half Moon Bay, coaching Little League Baseball (8 years), President of Popwarner and coaching (10 years) and currently coaching at Half Moon Bay Highschool. Lazy H Ranch is also home to two dogs, one cat, chickens and goats. “I have been coaching kids  all my career, in so many different facets, horses, animals, sports, outdoors. My reward is seeing kids build confidence and learning through experience. It is amazing that we are now teaching children of previous Lazy H Ranch children to ride!”
